Mr. Adekunle Sunday Olusanya is a versatile experienced Chattered Banker, a professional and dexterous financial expert, trained in reputable Institutions in Nigeria. He obtained Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance with Upper Credit at Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Osun State and a Bachelor Degree in Management and Accounting with second Class Upper Division at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Biography

He also holds an MBA (Finance Option) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. He is currently running his MSc. Accounting from the same Institution (Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State).

He is an Associate (ACIB) of the Chattered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria with over 17 years post professional qualification.

Adekunle Sunday Olusanya is a Certified Microfinance Banker Practitioner of the Chattered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (MCIB) with wealth of experience.

Mr. Adekunle Sunday Olusanya started his career as a finance and investment consultant as SOLAD Consulting Ilupeju, Lagos State where he rose to the post of Senior Manager. He joined Obafemi Awolowo University Microfinance Bank Limited as Head, Internal Audit, Control and Compliance. He monitored the microcredit unit of the bank and coordinated budget preparation and evaluation, monitoring and implementation till hem left the bank in 2010.
He joined Olowolagba Microfinance Bank Limited in February 2010 as a pioneer head of Internal Audit, Control and Compliance. Mr. Adekunle Sunday Olusanya Coordinated the formulation of most policy documents of the bank which earned him a commendation letter by the Board of Directors.
Adekunle Sunday Olusanya was appointed as the Managing Director of the Bank and was approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2014 till date. He also collaborated to grow the bank as a Unit MFB to State Microfinance Bank Limited with branch in Gbagi Market, Ibadan.
He has attended many training and seminar on finance, investment, risk management, internal audit and control, bank operations and treasury as well as credit administration and delinquency management among others. The astute banker is the Chairman, National Association of Microfinance Banks of Nigeria, Oyo state chapter from year 2020 till date, he is the Chairman, Ogbomoso Bank Managers’ forum from 2015 till date, Vice Chairman, National Association of Microfinance Banks of Nigeria, South West Zone in the year 2018-2020. He became a pioneer President of Association of Executive MBA Students of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Osun State between 2010 – 2012. He was alsoelected as the President, National Association of Banking and Finance Students, Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Osun State in 1999-2000.

Moreover, he is the President, Redeemed Men fellowship of RCCG Gloryland Zone Ile-Ife, Osun State since 2015 till date.
